Where do I find out more info on Modular Homes?

I am looking for Modular homes prebuilt at a factory to local building codes for Oregon. I dont want a manufatured home. I am having a hard time finding reliable information for my state.

Has anyone done a Modular home?

    I'm sitting in a modular home. You can get just about any above ground portions of a house made in a modular home. Restrictions, features, and customizations vary greatly between companies. Some places will build wood foundations and also ship them to you.

    I suggest you google "modular homes oregon" as a starting place to find local building companies. There are a lot of them, but they only will manufactor houses for locations generally within a few hundred miles at most.
