Where are modular homes allowed to be put in Alberta?

Hi, can someone tell me what areas of Alberta it is "LEGALLY" possible to put a modular home? We would like to live "Reasonably" close to either Calgary, Red Deer, or Edmonton. Not looking to be crammed in shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of others either. Piece of land 1-2 acres in size.Thanks.

    If you have the piece of land already, check with the nearest city planning board. That's where you'll start to get utilities (electricity/propane/water) All must be "permitted"
    If no land yet, check those cities you mentioned for home building requirements. Also check w/modular home builders, they know.
