    This song is so …
This song is so ahead of it’s time, especially in terms of it’s structure. The bass and erratic drums are especially amazing. First released on November 28th, 1981 on the album Tin Drum.

Some famous music journalist wrote recently that there has never been an album like Tin Drum either before or since. He’s probably right.

    Jansen’s come up …
Jansen’s come up with more complex in his time though.
Japan consisted of some of the best musicians the world has ever seen in my opinion. Jansen’s drumming, Karn’s talking bass, Barbieri’s complex synth textures, and of course Sylvian’s voice. Killer stuff.
